Tuesday Ten: 178: The Bucket List

During my recent Depeche Mode live review, I noted that they were one of those bands that I'd been waiting a long, long time to see, and indeed, over the past few years, I've made considerable inroads into a long list of similar bands.

Usually, I guess, when you emigrate to the other side of the world, and start a new life 10,500 miles from your home city, continuing your existing band/musical project may not be high on the list of priorities as you settle down.

Hit The North

A shorter break between posts this time, as I try and get back into the rhythm of doing more of my thing, and not being dragged down by work all the time. And at least for now, it seems to be working, I'm somewhat happier, I'm trying not to get too stressed at work, and I can relax out of the office (as I've done this evening, with a post-work pint and food in the company of and ).

Thee Faction + Joanne Joanne - Live at Buffalo Bar, N1 - 22-May 2013

Sometimes the most interesting gigs, the ones that give you a new perspective, are not in large venues, or at public gigs, but at small events that you weren't even sure you were attending until late on. As happened here, with a Thee Faction show that happened to be a member of the band's birthday, and we got invited along being friends of members of both bands that played.
