Next week marks ten years since I began the Tuesday Ten series, at the end of March 2007. I was 28 then, and much has changed in the decade since.
This Saturday, my wife and I (finally) head off on our honeymoon, starting off in New York – a city I’ve wanted to visit and see for myself for as long as I’ve looked out on the world.
This week – for the first non-month round-up in a while – I’m looking at bands mentioning other bands or artists. Or lots of them in one song, in more than one case. There were quite a few more that I couldn’t include, and I’d be interested to hear other suggestions for this.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Ian Curtis’ death. The influence of his band and of course New Order that formed in the wake of his death has been enormous, and nowhere is this shown more by the massive list of covers of both band’s songs.
